Hello and Welcome,

I'm Loretta Crosby, editor of Social Security Disability ESP, and author of the recently released (October 2009) ebook entitled "Getting Social Security Disability: Your 9 Step Individual Action Plan."

This forum was started as a potential resource for customers who have purchased the 9 Steps e-book. Its purpose is to receive their feedback and general impressions of the e-book, and to allow them to ask questions specific to the 9 Steps included in the e-book. I also wanted them to be able to get answers about other Social Security disability questions in general.

Since I am an ex-Disability Claims Examiner, I knew that I might not be able to answer questions about the disability determination process that were unrelated to the services provided by the DDS state offices which I worked for, so I wanted to create a place where others who knew the answers might offer their expertise and contribute as well.

Thus our new Disability Claims ESP Community forum is born.

Though I am the creator/moderator, I know you realize that the resource goes nowhere if YOU do not hop on board and help us explore the terrain.

So I welcome disability claimants, attorneys, lawyers, non-attorney disability representatives, disability examiners and adjudicators, disability counselors, medical doctors, psychiatrists and all others who are advocates or have an interest in assisting others in learning more about the disability determination process.

Together we can help each other better understand all the pieces inherent in the complex federal disability program.
